The Only Living Boy in New York di Simon e Garfunkel, Jolene di Ray La montagne e Sarah Don’t Shoot di Ken Yates.

Ecco he Narrow Corner.:

ARE YOU HYPFI? I MEAN, IS YOUR MUSIC SAD BUT ARE YOU AN HAPPY PERSON?
I think some of my music is sad. But not all of it. We call it melancholic I guess.

WHAT IS THE SADDEST SONG IN YOUR NEW ALBUM, THE NARROW CORNER? AND WHY?
The saddest song I suppose is Cool Water. It’s all about loss. I think this is a tough subject to deal with but an important one.

WHAT IS THE HAPPIER SONG IN THE NARROW CORNER? AND WHY?
A happier song on the new album would be All in All. It is very positive and is written about loving and appreciating the place that you have grown up and that you consider to be your home.

WHY LISTENING TO YOUR MUSIC SHOULD MAKE A LISTENER HAPPIER?
I think as a listener of music it helps to hear a song that you can identify with. Sometimes if I am sad I listen to a sad song. By listening to this sad song that someone else has written I don’t feel so alone in my sadness with helps me to feel happier and share whatever it is I’m going through.

CAN YOU TELL ME YOUR THREE FAVORITE SAD SONG EVER?
I guess that is very subjective to what I consider to be sad. The Only Living Boy in New York by Simon and Garfunkel, Jolene by Ray La montagne, and Sarah Don’t Shoot by Ken Yates.
